Let’s schedule a free 10–15-minute phone consultation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit. We’ll talk briefly about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you have. I’ll also share information about my practice and review relevant policies. If it feels like a good fit, we can move forward with scheduling an initial session.
-
Your first appointment is a 60-minute intake session where we’ll begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You’ll also have space to ask questions and share what feels important to you—you don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin.
-
Individual therapy sessions typically last 45–55 minutes, depending on your needs. These appointments offer ongoing space to explore your experiences, understand patterns, and work toward your goals. Together, we’ll balance reflection with practical strategies for navigating everyday challenges. You’re welcome to bring something specific to discuss, and when you’re unsure where to start, I’ll help guide our conversation.
Summary of Policies
This list provides an overview of key practice policies. Before your first appointment, you’ll receive the full practice policies and informed consent forms to review. I’m happy to answer any questions so you know what to expect before we begin.

At this time, I offer appointments exclusively through telehealth. Please choose a quiet, private location with a reliable internet connection for your appointment.
By consenting to telehealth, you agree to receive mental health care by video and may withdraw your consent at any time. Telehealth offers convenient access to care but carries risks, including technical interruptions, potential breaches of confidentiality, and limitations in responding to emergencies. The same privacy and confidentiality protections apply as with in-person care. If your needs require in-person services or a higher level of care, I may recommend those options. During a crisis, I may contact your emergency contact or appropriate authorities.

Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. As a solo psychotherapy practice, my Good Faith Estimates will include only the psychotherapy services I provide. I do not provide medical tests, prescriptions, or facility services.
If you schedule a health care item or service at least 3 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 1 business day after scheduling. If you schedule a health care item or service at least 10 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after scheduling. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
If you are paying out of pocket or not using insurance, I will provide you with a written Good Faith Estimate before your first appointment.
